Hi, I'm Dennis Wagner and I dedicated my life to Christ in January 1994 and have never looked back! Having God in my life has been and continues to be a life changing experience. I have degrees in Christian Behavioral Studies and Marriage Counseling. In addition I have certifications in time management, strategic planning and volunteerism along with certifications in Life & Executive Coaching.
I have been married to my best friend for 12 years.
You may be thinking how does someone who has only been married for 12 years know anything about marriage. Well I am constantly reading books, attending seminars and studying marriage materials to give you the absolute best guidance you deserve. Plus I have great role models
in my life; my parents have been married for 40 years, grandparents that were married for 54 years and grandparents that were married for 62 years and my in-laws were married 58 years…that’s 214 years of marriage!
My Passion & Commitment to you:
• Prepare engaged couples for a lifetime of marriage.
• Provide married couples with tools and skills to develop a strong and fulfilling marriage.
• Assist men & women in overcoming obstacles, setting and achieving their goals and dreams.
As a Christian counselor, I offer hope that with God's help a person can find answers to their problems. Due to the times we live in, many are fearful and have turned to meeting their needs in ways that bring more pain and suffering. People are at risk because of the breakdown of their physical bodies, their souls and their spirits. Neglecting body, soul or spirit has significant consequences and these areas affect all our relationships when they are out of balance. Christian counseling begins with addressing these important concepts/issues and by setting goals for personal growth and change.
My goal in premarital counseling is to prepare a couple for what marriage is truly like, and then continually ask the question, "are you prepared for and committed to handling whatever might happen in marriage with this person at this time in your life?" In order to best envision what marriage may present for each specific couple, I listen to their stories as individuals and then as a couple. I listen for patterns and differences which will most certainly present themselves after marriage. While not stealing the flame of love from the couple, I do my best to open their eyes to what realistically lies ahead for them.

A Fight to the Finish…
And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong. So
take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the
best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to
everything the Devil throws your way. This is no afternoon athletic contest
that we'll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for
keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his
angels. Be prepared. You're up against far more than you can handle on
your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so
that when it's all over but the shouting you'll still be on your feet. Truth,
righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn
how to apply them. You'll need them throughout your life. God's Word is an
indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this
ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters.
Keep your eyes open. Keep each other's spirits up so that no one falls
behind or drops out.
